EWTN At 4 a.m., live, in St. Peter’s, Pope Leo will celebrate Mass for the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, observing also the World Day of Peace. (Re-airs 6:30 p.m.) 

Re-airing at 8 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and midnight is the New Year’s Eve Solemn Mass of Reparation. At 3 p.m. is a re-air of The Catholic University of America Christmas Concert for Charity.

137th Rose Parade

ABC, NBC, RFD TV, Univision, HGTV, Great American Family With the theme “The Magic in Teamwork,” this 5.5-mile parade along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California, will feature 19 marching bands, 17 equestrian units and between 40 and 50 floats.

Great Performances: From Vienna: The New Year’s Celebration 2026

PBS In the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, the Vienna Philharmonic under Yannick Nézet-Séguin will present Strauss family favorites. The Vienna City Ballet will also perform. (Re-airs 9:30 p.m.)
