I didn’t leave you. I wouldn’t dare – not without saying something anyway.
Just took some time to think, rest, be lazy, procrastinate, shovel snow, watch soccer and a few other things so trivial I can’t remember them right now. I’ll still do all these things from time to time but now it’s come time to share again. A good witness has to…oh I dunno…witness!
In these down times I’ve continued to listen to K-LOVE, every day on the way to work and every evening on the way home. Even downloaded their new app onto my phone. Here’s a song that I’ve been singing to myself an awful lot lately. That usually has great meaning. Sometimes I figure it out and sometimes I can’t. This time around it’s pretty clear. I’ve got to stop trying to figure things out and just trust in God to lead me through. When I ask the Holy Spirit to work through me, great things happen and I feel at peace. Just today, this realization came to me as I prepared to talk to a customer.
I was spending too much time preparing and rehearsing. I simply asked the Holy Spirit to work through me. He did. I stayed calm which doesn’t always happen. I stuck to my guns. I was at peace when the conversation ended.
