Brothers and sisters,
I’ve heard this song quite a few times on K-LOVE but never stopped to give the lyrics a close listen.
Tonight I did and WOW! It’s like this song was written for me. I’ve felt like I just couldn’t it right. I’ve felt like doors were closing and I’ve wondered about what’s coming next. I’ve felt crazy, like nothing is changing.
I’ve forgotten everything God’s done for me. I’ve taken my life for granted. I’ve taken people in my life for granted.
This song is such a great reminder that God is right there with me, in the middle of everything going on in my life. All I have to do is reach out to him and seek his guidance. Rest in him and let him point me in the right direction. I must remember his constant presence more often.
My brothers and sisters, you didn’t need to sink into the abyss and wallow in self-pity as I have many times. Whenever you feel things are headed off track, center yourself and remember who is at “The Center of It.”
