Starlight Kid has big plans in store for her first reign as Wonder of Stardom Champion following her Dream Queendom victory.
At STARDOM Dream Queendom 2024, Starlight Kid dethroned Natsupoi to capture the Wonder of Stardom Championship for the first time in her career. The day after, STARDOM held a press conference with some of the competitors from the show to gather their insights from the matchups. Starlight Kid was one of the participants in the press conference as she addressed the media on her championship win.

She began by praising Natsupoi for their competitive matchup and named her one of her greatest rivals. She also expressed joy after seeing the overwhelming support from her fans following her performance in the match. However, Starlight Kid made it clear that she plans on changing the perception of championship hierarchy in STARDOM by putting the Wonder of Stardom belt on top. “Now that I have the belt, I want to make it shine the brightest. I can’t lose to the belt hierarchy, to [Saya] Kamitani personally, or to the red belt,” she says.
The World of Stardom Championship, also known as the red belt, has long been considered to be the top championship in the company. The Wonder of Stardom Championship falls behind in second. However, the white belt has also met high regard, headlining STARDOM’s shows on certain occasions. As the new Wonder of Stardom Champion, Starlight Kid promises to put the title on the map as the face of the company moving forward.
