What an amazing 3 weeks it’s been. Tonight I truly believed I could get some serious writing done but just a few minutes ago I was falling asleep sitting in front of this computer screen waiting for a document to print. I’ll be turning in soon but not before letting you know that I’m still here and anxious to get back to sharing the Good News with you.
Family matters take precedence, as they should. On September 6th my wife Jennifer broke her left fibula and dislocated her left ankle in a fall at our home. She had surgery 6 days later to realign her ankle and repair her broken bone. She’s recuperating but also being stretched a bit thin as her mother suffered a fall in our home on September 24th. Her mother left the hospital just a couple days ago to begin her recuperation, as well.
September has been quite a month for injury and illness. I have much to share with you about how these recent events have impacted our family. I ask for your patience and your prayers as I continue to refine my schedule to the point where I can care for my family, meet my work obligations and share my story with all of you. Just writing this tonight is a monumental first step.
