Sting has confirmed that his final match will take place at AEW Revolution in 2024.
The superstar appeared during tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, where he began by speaking about some of the iconic legends he’s shared the ring with, including the likes of Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Dusty Rhodes.
The star also touched on his infamous “retirement” in 2015, mentioning that it never sat right with him that he sat out then. However, on the topic of retirement, Sting revealed that he believes it’s time, and that his last match will be next year at AEW Revolution, which will coincide with his three-year anniversary with the company.
Currently, no date for AEW Revolution 2024 has been set, but the pay-per-view has traditionally been held around some time in March.
