WWE SmackDown Viewership Increases On 10/13, Demo Also Up

WWE SmackDown viewership increased on October 13.

According to the latest Fast Nationals data, this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.325 million viewers, up from last week‘s 2.319 million viewers. In addition to the viewership, the 18-49 demo was 756K, which is also up from last week’s 640K. Which was more than enough to keep SmackDown as the number one show on broadcast television Friday night.

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week‘s episode of WWE SmackDown was the season premiere and opened up with John Cena. He was interrupted by a returning Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. This eventually brought out LA Knight as a future match was teased between himself and Reigns.

Elsewhere on the show, Charlotte Flair went face to face with Jade Cargill backstage, Triple H introduced Nick Aldis as the new general manager of SmackDown, and Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso successfully defended their titles against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. Rhodes and Reigns had a long-awaited face-off following the match.

In the main event of the show, LA Knight defeated Solo Sikoa when Jimmy Uso got involved. John Cena came out to assist and make the save. Roman Reigns hit Knight with a spear following the match.
