When I heard Kari Jobe’s interview on K-LOVE a while back, I was impressed with how relaxed and laid back she was. Then I saw this video of her singing her hit song, “Steady My Heart.” I was so impressed with the emotion and focus she brought to the song. She was living every word as she sang it.
This song’s message is simple. When everything seems to be out of control in our lives, all we have to do in look to Jesus to steady our hearts. As a Catholic, I look to Christ’s advocate – the Holy Spirit – to come down and fill everything in me and around me with grace, comfort and reassurance. All we need to do is call the Holy Spirit to come and be with us. He knows exactly what is needed in every situation.
