On the April 6 episode of AEW Collision, Dustin Rhodes cut a promo about his dream of winning a world title, and he challenged AEW World Champion Samoa Joe to face him. Joe accepted the challenge and said Rhodes would get a title shot if he won.
Elsewhere on the show, Chris Jericho, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata will face Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, and Anthony Ogogo. HOOK and Jericho beat Taylor and Moriarty on Saturday, band Ogogo attacked the duo after the bell. Later in the show, HOOK revealed Shibata as their partner for a trios bout.
Plus, Mariah May will face Anna Jay.
