Janel Grant’s attorney comments on the “ring boys” lawsuit that has been filed against Vince McMahon and WWE.

On October 23, DiCello Levitt and Murphy, Falcon & Murphy announced that they had filed a lawsuit announced that they filed a lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and Linda McMahon, and TKO. The complaint is on behalf of five individuals who worked as “ring boys” in WWE and claim that they were sexually abused.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics shared the following statement from Ann Callis, Janel Grant’s attorney, regarding the ring boy lawsuit. Callis commented on WWE’s culture under McMahon.

“The allegations in the ‘ring boys’ lawsuit against WWE are deeply troubling. Vince McMahon made sexual abuse and human trafficking a hallmark of WWE’s culture for decades. Survivors like Janel Grant and other former WWE employees deserve their day in court.

“All former WWE employees who experienced sexual abuse and harassment should be allowed to tell the truth by having their non-disclosure agreements waived. Ms. Grant stands by all WWE survivors and believes that Mr. McMahon, WWE, and all involved parties must be held accountable.”

In January, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, alleging sexual assault and trafficking. McMahon denied the allegations and resigned from WWE and TKO. He remains under federal investigation.
