On the September 19 episode of NWA Powerrr, Ruthie Jay defeated Natalia Markova and Missa Kate to earn a shot at the gold. She will challenge Kenzie Paige for the NWA World Women’s Championship at NWA SAMHAIN on October 28.
Jay made her NWA debut in February 2023, and she has increasingly been a featured member of the roster in recent months. She has also competed for Coastal Championship Wrestling, among other promotions.
Paige won the title by dethroning Kamille, who held the gold for over 800 days, at NWA 75 Night Two.
